The 2020 Jeep Cherokee powertrain lineup consists of three powerful engines! The standard engine on the Cherokee is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that pumps out 180 horsepower, 171 lb-ft of torque, and can make up to 31 mpg on the highway! The optional 3.2-liter V6 makes 271 horsepower, 239 lb-ft of torque, and is rated to tow up to 4,500 pounds! Last up is the available 2.0-liter turbo engine that produces 270 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Cherokee Trailhawk comes standard with Jeep Active Drive Lock and a Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud, Sport, and Rock! This 4×4 system is also available for the rest of the Jeep Cherokee lineup.

2020 Ford Escape Power & Handling

Ford offers the 2020 Escape with four different engine options. The first and standard is the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The available 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine also comes paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission but adds SelectShift with paddle shifters. The last two engines are both 2.5-liters. One is a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson Cycle I-4 hybrid the other is a 2.5-liter iVCT Atkinson Cycle I-4 plug-in hybrid. These engines come paired with an eCVT transmission. Front-wheel-drive is the standard configuration across the board, however, you can get all but the plug-in version in all-wheel-drive.

2020 Jeep Cherokee Features & Design

Jeep offers the 2020 Cherokee with five main trim levels including the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Limited, Trailhawk, and Overland. The Latitude comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen that works with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and pairs with a six-speaker sound system. Blind-spot monitoring rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors come standard on the Latitude Plus. The Limited heads towards luxury with heated seats, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, and a larger 8.4-inch touchscreen. The Overland dives even deeper into the world of luxury and tacks on heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, navigation, and a sound-deadening windshield. Finally, the off-road-ready Trailhawk with off-road suspension, tow hooks, skid plates, hill ascent/descent control, and increased ground clearance.

2020 Ford Escape Features & Design

The five-passenger 2020 Ford Escape comes standard with a rotary gear shift dial, cloth bucket seats, a 6-way manual driver seat, manual climate control, and 60/40-split-folding rear seats. The SE, which is the next trim level in the model lineup upgrades to automatic temperature control, a 10-way power driver front seat with heat, and satellite radio. The SEL tacks on a reverse sensing system, a heated steering wheel, and remote start. The range-topping Escape Titanium comes with Active Park Assist 2.0, an upgraded sound system, leather-trimmed seats. And ambient lighting. You can opt to outfit this model with a sunroof, roof rack crossbars, and a head-up display.
