What engines are there to choose from?

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed manual transmission with the option of an eight-speed automatic transmission if you so choose with four-wheel-drive standard on all trims. Optional is a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 with 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque coming with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Gladiator has a best-in-class towing ability of 7,650 pounds and an outstanding 1,600-pound payload capacity.

What are notable features on the Gladiator?

Four trim levels are available with the five-passenger, four-door Gladiator. The base-level Sport comes with 17-inch steel wheels, crank windows, all-season tries, manual door locks and mirrors, cruise control, a rearview camera, and a 5-inch central display with Bluetooth, eight-speaker audio system and voice control capability. Optional on the Gladiator is a convertible folding soft top, removable doors, and a fold-down front windshield. Higher-level trims come with such features such as power windows, alloy wheels, heated power mirrors, side steps, tinted rear side and rear windows, LED ambient footwell lighting, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The Sport S also comes with a few packages which open up availability to more options. A Technology Group package provides you with a 7-inch touchscreen with automatic climate control and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Other packages include a Cargo Group package with a rail-based cargo management system and a 115-volt power outlet in the bed and a Safety Group and Advanced Safety Group that gives you a variety of saftey and security features. The top-level Rubicon gives you a ton of off-road capability with a transfer case that provides a lower crawl ratio for better climbing and crawling, fenders with increased clearance to accommodate larger 33-inch tires, locking front and rear differentials, and Fox shock absorbers.

What are some of the safety features?

The all-new Gladiator comes with all of the latest saftey and security features to help keep you out of trouble or take action when it’s unavoidable. Available is a Blind-Spot Monitoring system that uses radar bases sensors to detect other vehicles and alert you if there is one traveling in your blind spot zone. An Adaptive Cruise Control with Full Stop technology automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a pre-selected distance from the vehcile ahead of you. Also available is a ParkSense Read Park Assist System which uses sonar sensors located in the bumper to detect obstacles behind you. The Gladiator will sound an alert when you get to close to a potential barrier when parallel parking.
